Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Celebration

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Melissa and I had the honor of attending the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Colorado Springs. This vibrant community tradition brings thousands of residents together each year to celebrate Irish heritage and the pride we all share in this great city.

The Colorado Springs St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been a beloved part of the community since 1985, when it was founded by John and Carol O’Donnell with the vision of bringing a festive Irish celebration to the heart of Colorado Springs. What began as a modest parade has grown into one of the city’s largest annual events, drawing tens of thousands of spectators and featuring music, floats, dancers, and community groups along Tejon Street.

This year’s celebration once again filled downtown with the sound of bagpipes, marching bands, and the cheers of families lining the route. I had the opportunity to join community members and local organizations in the festivities and share in the spirit of the day.

Events like this parade mean more than just a celebration. They provide an opportunity for neighbors, families, and local leaders to come together and recognize the strength of our community. Throughout the parade route, many residents took a moment to wave, say hello, and offer words of encouragement. The warm greetings and cheers of support were truly appreciated.

I was also grateful to have members of my team there supporting the campaign and helping engage with the community throughout the event. Their energy, encouragement, and commitment mean a great deal, and I truly appreciate the time they dedicate to being part of this effort.

Thank you for the continued support, and happy St. Patrick’s Day!
