“To my friends and family in the Springs and all of El Paso County:

The County Primary Elections are underway and will be decided next month. Included in that is the Primary Election for Sheriff. I recommend to all of you to vote for Joe Roybal as your Republican Primary and then as your next Sheriff. Many years ago Joe informed me his goal of one day becoming The Sheriff of the most populated county in Colorado. He’s been preparing and growing his experience ever since. EXPERIENCE is what it takes!

Joe is the absolute clear candidate for Sheriff. Joe has worked for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for over a quarter century. He built his career running the detentions portion of the office, to include leading deputies in the largest jail and courthouse in the state. He showed his ability to lead and work with multiple law enforcement agencies in the county by running the Vice Narcotics and Intelligence Unit. He is in charge of the entire budget/finance portion of the office, and has a clear understanding of how the office’s budget should be utilized.

Joe is a tremendous person with a huge heart for his community and his employees. Born and raised in El Paso County, Joe is the only candidate who has seen the growths and struggles within the county over his lifetime, and knows how to serve, protect and build community relationships with law local enforcement.

Joe is trusted and endorsed by so many local leaders, to include the District Attorney, the Mayor, Chief of Police and the Coroner. With so many large cities crumbling due to crime and inadequate leadership across the county, I challenge you all to vote for Joe, ensuring El Paso County will always be safe and your constitutional rights will always be protected.

Joe knows the issues. Most importantly, Joe knows how to lead, treat people well, and will bring the positive changes the office needs.🖤💙🖤”
